my dad and his friend had just finished playing a little league game on a late sunday afternoon. They were in walking distance of my dads house and headed that way shortly after the game. In those days it was common for them to go to games and practice without their parents, especially since my grandma had 10 kids. When they arrived to an empty house it seemed unsettling and even my father, at age 12, could feel something was wrong. As they walked into the kitchen my father recalls seeing 2 or 3 grocery bags on the table unpacked. Upon seeing the grocery bags and realizing, officially, no one was home, my dad got the chills so bad he imediatley had to pee. Hoping for the frightened feeling to be dispensed from his body he quickly and discretely, hiding his fear, coaxed his friend to come to the bathroom with him, so he may pee in comfort. Halfway through his liquid release my father quickly and habitually looked to the bathroom window and sees a man staring at him with the widest, most disturbed grin he has ever experienced. He screams and grabs his friend by the arm, running out of the bathroom and locking all the doors in the small, wooden frame house. They waited inside until my grandparents got home and that was the end. He has always been doubted by listeners when telling this story, i think because it seems that when he tells it he isnt troubled by intruder, but that he is in disbelief that his friend did not see him. In any case, the creepiest story i can recall.
