DzCooper Thread

(Wrote all on mobile)I'm pretty late to this but I really wanted to share this. This was roughly 7 years ago and we had been living our new home for about 2 years already. My mom and sister went out with some family while my dad, two brothers, and I stayed home. At the time my older brother was going through a (high school) phase where he would keep to himself. We didn't have anything to do so we decided to go to the video store. My dad, younger brother and I decided to rent out Polar Express and my older brother rented out the Excorcist. My dad didn't want my brother to watch the movie in the living room so he made him watch it in the other room. We sat down and began watching Polar Express and my brother did the same with the Excorcist. We were watching our movie but at the same time you can hear the movie my brother was playing and he began to turn the volume up and it got really loud. This is where we all got fucken scared. My older brother kept putting the volume up and then came a seen where the girl was being possessed in which we could all hear. Then what happened was one of the scariest things I along with my family had ever experienced. The screaming commenced and then we heard a really loud thud. My dad paused for a second as the sound of screams continued. He stood up and looked over the couch to see the BIBLE on the floor. My dad immediately rushed over to the other room and disconnected the vcr and turned off the tv. He told my brother, "you see what happens when you watch shit you shouldn't be watching". He told my brother to walk over to the dining room to see what had happened and even he was scared shitless. The reason we were all scared to death wasn't only because it fell right out of our bookshelf, but because it fell off it without making anything else fall. The Bible was behind a whole bunch of envelopes and books that it was literally impossible for it to have just fallen on it's own. It was as if it was lifted up and then dropped from the height of about 6 feet (height of the bookshelf). We continue to tell this story to others and we get the chills every time we share it. I still remember the the look of my dads face when he realized what it had been that had fallen.
