Disclaimer: I'm not entirely sure as to what does and does not count as paranormal but this is freakily coincidental. I've never shared this before outside of my family so I might as well post for your amusement.

a few years ago, during my senior year of high school, a freshman was found drowned in the school's swimming pool

(Long Story Short *he missed the first day of the swimming portion of gym class where there was an assessment, he couldn't swim, swam anyways, and nobody noticed him in the pool unresponsive until students from the next class entered. Foul play was not suspected*)

Anyways, during the ordeal the school was put on lockdown; as word spread, the entire school was pretty much breaking down in hugs and tears. Class was cancelled for the day at around noon. During this time while everybody was crying and sticking together, I personally didn't know the kid and I was in a mindset where I just felt numb. I'm the type of person who tends not to show emotion around others.

I got to my house and I noticed something odd. I had a massive, gut-wrenching feeling that hit me and I couldn't figure out what was wrong. I was dismissing this feeling as shock, a kid just drowned after all. It wasn't until I found my dog (who was slowly becoming blind due to old age) drowned in our backyard pool that I realized my instincts were trying to tell me that my dog didn't greet me at the door like normal.

tl;dr kid drowns at the school swimming pool, get home to find my old and blind dog drowned in my backyard swimming pool.
