I was waiting for the 6 train at Lexington Avenue, and this man ran past me pushing me aside and jumped as the oncoming train slowly coming to a stop and trampling over him. Everything was in slow motion, an MTA worker screamed as he jumped infront of the train. Once the train stopped in the heat of the moment, his boyfriend jumped down on the tracks and reached out to him. Urging the jumper that he was going to be alright. I helped him back up to see his shirt covered in blood. Myself still shocked from what I just witnessed tried to see what happened to the guy. I went up and down the platform near the front of the train to see his body. The paramedics arrived in 10 minutes and urged everyone off the platform. I ended up taking the E that day.
